About Us

This beautiful riad has been refurbished to an extremely high standard with respect for Andalusian style, whilst at the same time paying great attention to modern amenities in order to obtain the highest levels of comfort.

Accommodation

Six double bedrooms are located on the first floor, all with ensuite bathroom.

Special attention has been paid to various elements. Orthopaedic mattresses are made to measure using only natural materials such as pure wool and cotton. Bedding includes goose feathered pillows and duvets, bedcovers in pure lambs wool in winter and pure cotton in summer, sheets in pure Egyptian cotton satin and towels and bathrobe in thick cotton.

Facilities at Riad Al Moussika include:


Courtyard Garden and Swimming Pool
A courtyard garden filled with trees, bougainvillea and a swimming pool in the centre. More precisely, an Andalusia basin thirteen metres long, tiled with a mosaic carpet design. Here water falls from a white Carrara marble fountain to the songs of numerous small birds creating an idyllic scenario, in spite of being in the heart of central medina.

Music Room 
A large music-reception room decorated with a cedar painted ceiling and with white marble tiles interlaced with the mosaic on the floor. A fireplace gives winter evenings a cosy atmosphere, as do the impressive modern paintings, carpets, sofas and armchairs. There is a hi-fi system and an art deco Pleyel grand piano perfectly tuned for the pleasure of our guests. 

Terraces 
Unique view of the medina and the Atlas Mountains can be seen from the two terraces that are sheltered partially with wooden pergolas and surrounded by large terracotta flower vases. Tables, comfortable armchairs with cushions and teak chaise lounges allow guests to sunbathe during the day or request breakfast and candle lit dinner. On one of the terraces there is a pavilion with Moroccan sofas, cushions and lamps should some of the guests prefer a more intimate space.

Cuisine 
A large well equipped kitchen serving food prepared according to Moroccan, Italian and French recipes by our resident Grand Diploma Cordon Bleu Chef, Khalid, who has the natural gift to make superb healthy dishes and who will try his very best to please the guests palate.  A large selection of vegetarian dishes can be served as well on request.

Dining Room 
A formal dining room with a fire place, a white marble floor, painted cedar ceiling, a selection of modern paintings and a long parade table in cedar with twelve places.

Moroccan Lounge 
A Moroccan styled dining-reception room with typical sofas, cushions, carpets, small oriental tables and chairs.

Hammam 
Turkish bath or hammam in white marble with a relax room where, on request, a professional masseur can take care of the guests.

Loggias and Lounges 
Different loggias with iroko wood pergolas are equipped with armchairs and tea tables.

Library 
A large library room with books is at the disposal of the guests, the majority of which are on Moroccan art and history. 

Location

Riyad Al Moussika, situated in the ancient medina of Marrakech in a lively yet tranquil district, is five minutes walk from Djemâa el Fna. Easily accessible by car (there are parking spaces with a parking attendant just by the riad) or by taxi which will drop you off at the end of Derb Cherkaoui.

MAKING A RESERVATION

What am I getting? - Your reservation at the Riyad Al Moussika includes bed & breakfast and all taxes. Please note that your reservation does not include transfers from the airport to the hotel.

What happens next? - After clicking "Book Now" you will be directed to a secured page requesting your details. After completing your details click "Confirm Booking." Thereafter you will receive confirmation of your reservation at the email address you provided. Your resevation is now confirmed and no further action is required on your behalf. Once again we would like to remind you that all information provided on EasyAfrica is done securely.

Cancellation policy - Due to the high demand of accommodation in Morocco hoteliers need to be made aware if you are unable to fulfill your reservation. A late cancellation means that the hotelier may not sell the room to another guest. Therefore all hotels have cancellation policies.

All cancellations made less than 7 days prior to date of arrival will result in a 100% of the total cost of rooms booked being charged. From 8-14 days - 75% of the total cost of rooms booked will be charged. From 14-28 days - 50% of the total cost of rooms booked will be charged. More than 28 days - 20% of the total cost of rooms booked will be charged.

Payment Policy - When making a reservation on EasyAfrica a non refundable 20% deposit is paid immediately to confirm your reservation. The balance is payable to the hotel upon check in / check out. The Riyad Al Moussika does not accept American Express.

Reservation Request
All reservations made on EasyAfrica are confirmed immediately online. If however you do not wish to confirm your reservation immediately, require further information before doing so or cannot find availability please send your requests to info@easyafrica.co.uk
