About Us

The palace hotel Dar Mimosas is an elegant residence located on the outskirts of Essaouira for guests seeking peace and quiet. Small and select – Dar Mimosas is perfect for a quiet holiday.

You will find Dar Mimosas at the edge of the ocean and the mouth of a river, in a forest of mimosa trees that were planted to protect the sand dunes surrounding the town.

Accommodation

Dar Mimosas offers a choice of spacious suites (from 120 to 300m²).

Riyad Suites
Riyad Suites ‘Chirmas, Cherardas, Gnaouas et Massa’ accommodates two people. Each has a bedroom, bath, corner living room with fireplace and patio onto a private garden measuring about 490 square feet.

Riad ‘Suites Teima et Tarfaya’ sleeps two people. Built on the highest point on the property, and offers ocean and garden views, with bedroom, bath, living room with fireplace and terrace overlooking all of the grounds.

These can also be adapted to accommodate a third person (triple room).

Royal Villa Suites
Royal suites are located in separate villas. Each has two bedrooms (1 king and 1 with 2 twins), two baths, a large living room with an open fireplace, small well equipped kitchen, and a terrace leading to a large patio opening on a private garden with fountain.

Villa Suites can sleep two (double), three (triple) or four (4 sleeper) people.

Suites are decorated with antiques and paintings and equipped with a safe for your valuables, a stereo system, and a fridge with sodas and mineral water.

Please Note: Dar Mimosas is required to apply a Tourism Promotion Tax of 11.00 DH per person per night– which will be charged upon check out.

Facilities

To mark your arrival, you will find roses, a fresh fruit basket, Moroccan pastries, and freshly squeezed orange juice or mint tea.

An ample breakfast is available, featuring various Moroccan specialties. We can also provide you with a home made traditional Moroccan style menu for dinner. For lunch by the pool, a large plate of assorted salads and vegetables, tuna or smoked fish.

Dinner - 350.00 DH Per person

The ground floor of the main house offers a comfortable bar and lounge, TV room (with satellite), several dining rooms and a large terrace.

On arrival in Essaouira, follow the road to Agadir for 3 kilometres and you will see Dar Mimosas on your right.

MAKING A RESERVATION

What am I getting? - Your reservation at the Dar Mimosas includes bed & breakfast and all taxes. Please note that your reservation does not include transfers from the airport to the hotel.

What happens next? - After clicking "Book Now" you will be directed to a secured page requesting your details. After completing your details click "Confirm Booking." Thereafter you will receive confirmation of your reservation at the email address you provided. Your resevation is now confirmed and no further action is required on your behalf. Once again we would like to remind you that all information provided on EasyAfrica is done securely.

Cancellation policy - Due to the high demand of accommodation in Morocco hoteliers need to be made aware if you are unable to fulfill your reservation. A late cancellation means that the hotelier may not sell the room to another guest. Therefore all hotels have cancellation policies.

At Dar Mimosas cancellations made later than 30 days prior to date of arrival will result in a 50% of total cost cancellation fee. Any cancellation made later that 14 days prior to date of arrival will result in 100% of total cost cancellation fee.

Payment Policy - When making a reservation on EasyAfrica a non refundable deposit of 20% is paid immediately to confirm your reservation. The balance is payable to the hotel upon check in/check out.

Reservation Request
All reservations made on EasyAfrica are confirmed immediately online. If however you do not wish to confirm your reservation immediately, require further information before doing so or cannot find availability please send your requests to info@easyafrica.co.uk
