In the heart of the Palmeraie, just 15 minutes from the Djemaa el Fna Square, and 10 minutes from Marrakech’s golf courses, Villa Maha invites you to discover the magic of the Orient.
 
“Amra” means life, longevity and serenity.

With the meeting of Orient and Occident, you will be amazed by the originality of the Villa’s architecture. With a habitable surface of 1 200m², the decoration is a fine and subtle mixture of tradition (used materials) and modernity (volumes and spaces).

Accommodation

Villa Amra has two suites and three bedrooms with air-conditioning, heating, digital safety boxes, large wardrobes and bathroom.

The location of the bedrooms (ground floor, first floor and garden) offers you different views of the majestic Atlas Chain, the Djebelettes and the unique Palmeraie.

Each room is unique, and different by the distribution, colours, furniture and decoration. Traditional materials are represented in all of them. Tadelakt coloured walls, wooden cedar doors, Bjemat stone floors, brass lamps, and ancient potteries. The fusion of the traditional with the modern world gives you today’s comfort.

Alep Room (35m²)
Situated on the first floor on the west side. Walls in soft green tadelakt. The bed is on recess in handmade plaster, bedside tables in wicker, table from Burma, Club armchair in textile and foot stool in cedar.  Curtains in Chantung water green silk, carpets from the Moyen Altas, copper objects. Bathroom in aubergine tadelakt, grey marble floor and wardrobe in cedar.

Damas Room (32m²)
Situated on the first floor with big terrace allowing you to admire the garden, the pool and the Atlas. Walls in cumin tadelakt, armchair from Fès from the beginning of the century in orange leather, bedside table and foot stool in sculpted cedar, curtains in red velvet from Venice, carpets from the high Altas, engravings from the North of Africa and Tuareg box. Bathroom, orange marble floor and copper objects.

Samarcande Room (31m²)
Situated on the first floor on the east. Walls in deep red tadelakt, curtains in ornate velvet with Moroccan trimmings. Headboard in Turkish textile with Arabic classic floral decoration. Tables in leather, Syrian armchair in Moroccan velvet in front of the red and white zellige fireplace, Venetian mirror, suspension in camel leather with Henné drawing reproducing Fortuny models. Bathroom in bordeaux colour with red marble from Agadir.

Byzance Suite (56m²)
Situated on the ground floor with private terrace.  Walls in cinnamon tadelakt. Large wardrobe in sculpted cedar with big Mongolian chest. The bed is enclosed with two red Chinese boxes with silver lamp, lounge corner facing the fireplace, armchair brought from India, pouf in sculpted leather, carpets from the middle Altas, curtains in Chantung gold silk. Big bathroom in apricot tadelakt with red marble from Agadir.

Havanne Suite (60 m²)
Located on the first floor with a terrace on the south. Walls in off-white tadelakt, bedside and foot stool in sculpted cedar, armchair from Rajasthan with inlaid wood work Brown zellige fireplace, crystal lamps, desktop and Chinese armchairs in black, curtains in cinnamon taffeta, carpets from the north and old Egyptian engravings. Large bathroom in straw tadelakt, old bathtub. Mirror in sculpted cedar and a floor mirror from the beginning of the century. Large wardrobe in tadelakt and cedar.

Facilities

Description of the Villa
Entering the magnificent entrance door, sculptured in cedar and inserted in a glass frame you will discover the dome salon with a height of 12 metres stained with gold leaves. The walls are in caramel tadelakt. The central space of the villa consists of a teak Indian lounge from Rajasthan covered with pink sabra buvard and a birmany table decorated with a large copper tray made by marvellous Fès craftsmen. The height of the dome lends to the sound of the piano an excellent quality allowing it to be diffused aroundl the villa’s spaces. 

On the left you can enjoy a larger lounge in tadelakt chocolate, containing exotic furniture, mainly brought from India, China, and different parts of Morocco. The gorgeous chimney with an open fireplace invites you to enjoy comfortable, relaxing evenings.

The dining room situated on the right of the domed lounge is made in aubergine tadelakt illuminated by a succession of suspensions with Murano glass. Guests eat around two tables especially designed for Villa Amra. To whet your appetite, the chef will cook the most delicious Moroccan and European homemade dishes.

These three reception spaces are facing a park preceded by a covered traditional bejmat gallery and an external lounge area with a chimney allowing you to relax till nightfall.

Walking on Ourika stones will lead you to the 25 metre long swimming pool, with a solarium leaning against a ruin, with a superb olive tree in the middle making it possible to choose the best way to lounge under the sun.

A beautiful green lawn covers the entire garden and extends to one hectare. In the garden you will find, palm trees, bougainvilleas, jasmines, fig trees, oranges trees, night gallant, roses that exude their perfumes and colours and a wide variety of organically grown vegetables.

The Moresque pavilion, covered by smooth pillows, invites you to rest in tranquility. An Andalusian seguilla with lotus flowers and a Caidale tend (70m²) will allow you to experience the ancestral ways of life of Morocco.

Located on the first floor, you will find a hanging garden with multiple coloured bougainvilleas offering you the possibility to relax for a mint tea or dinner.

A library with television and home cinema contains a large 7 metres long sofa. Covered by smooth velvet pillows made of animal leather you will feel warm in front of the fireplace. A large bookcase offering you different books and works about Morocco and other literatures is available. Direct access to the terrace facing the swimming pool.

The main stairs leads you to a roof terrace of 500m² where aperitifs can be enjoyed while admiring the sunset on the Atlas or dinners under the starry sky of the Palmeraie.

What am I getting? - Your reservation at the Villa Amra includes bed & breakfast and all taxes. Please note that your reservation does not include transfers from the airport to the hotel.

What happens next? - After clicking "Book Now" you will be directed to a secured page requesting your details. After completing your details click "Confirm Booking." Thereafter you will receive confirmation of your reservation at the email address you provided. Your resevation is now confirmed and no further action is required on your behalf. Once again we would like to remind you that all information provided on EasyAfrica is done securely.

Cancellation policy - Due to the high demand of accommodation in Morocco hoteliers need to be made aware if you are unable to fulfill your reservation. A late cancellation means that the hotelier may not sell the room to another guest. Therefore all hotels have cancellation policies.

At the Villa Amra cancellations made later than 30 days prior to date of arrival will result in a 50% of total cost cancellation fee. Any cancellation made later that 14 days prior to date of arrival will result in 100% of total cost cancellation fee.

Payment Policy - When making a reservation on EasyAfrica a non refundable 20% deposit is paid immediately to confirm your reservation. The balance is payable to the hotel upon check in/check out.
